There is an abundance of activities to arrange and get involved in when staying in the Portpatrick area and specifically staying at Fernhill Hotel.
Take a leisurely stroll around the picture postcard village and visit the local craft shops on offer or simply take a break and watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour. The chance to have a quick round of golf is always an option as the Dunskey Golf club is just over the road, or try your hand at Creachmore in Stranraer.

Killantringan Lighthouse Walk a few miles north along the headland on the Southern Upland Way and admire the gorgeous lighthouse and the peaceful beach at Killantringan – where there’s even a shipwreck to see when the water is calm.
Dunskey Castle The magnificent ruins of Dunskey Castle are picturesquely perched on a rocky outcrop jutting out into the Irish Sea.
