La Suite West is the latest creation of British designer Anouska Hempel, famed for landscape design and high fashion who has owned, designed, and managed several award-winning, luxury boutique hotels.
At La Suite West, in a quiet street on the edge of Hyde Park, Hempel's aesthetic is a temple of black and white, where clean lines meet sharp angles and sculptural forms.
In the 79 bedrooms and suites there are individually-crafted, four-poster beds and black rubber chairs set off by whitewashed rooms and marble bathrooms. Details such as the thick, black, wood shutters in each room add depth and a touch of Zen.
Cafe Forty One
The brand-new café and menu offers a variety of dining options with entirely vegan breakfast and an
