The restaurant, Kent Bar and lounges at The Royal Glen Hotel are open to guests and visitors for breakfast, morning coffee, light lunches, afternoon tea and dinner.

The à la carte menu in the main restaurant is changed regularly, but always features fresh, locally-sourced produce and innovative dishes drawing on local and international culinary traditions.

English breakfast is a particular favourite amongst guests staying at the Royal Glen Hotel – and is a great way to build up energy for the day ahead, particularly if you are planning to stride out on to the Moors or along the beaches or coastal paths.

There is also a fantastic range of light lunch items that you can take in the bar or outside on the veranda, where you can enjoy wonderful sea views.

Sea Vista

New for summer 2026. Sea Vista brings fresh seafood and coastal favourites to the gardens of The Royal Glen. Open from Friday 1st May, our al fresco menu has been designed for relaxed seaside dining with views across the bay – local Brixham crab, sole and scallops, small plates and share-friendly classics, all served in the sunshine.

Open to hotel guests and visitors alike. Booking recommended.

We pride ourselves on offering top quality Devon cream teas, consisting of scones, jam, cream and either tea or coffee.

When you join us for afternoon tea, enjoy a sumptuous selection of homemade cakes, pastries and sandwiches, plus tea or coffee. Take in beautiful views of the Devon countryside as you experience a classic Devon treat.

Upgrade your afternoon tea to include champagne for the ultimate indulgence.
