Offering a selection of Christmas cocktails, Bar 1601 at Stonehouse Court Hotel is ready to bring a touch of magic to the occasion. With board games, books and local attractions, there’s something here for everyone.
The 17th Century Manor House is steeped in history, from tales of battles on the grounds during the War of the Roses, to love-struck butlers running wild! The captivating life of the building is honored by our collection of artifacts and historical documents on show for your observation and enjoyment. Our dedicated team is on hand 24 hours a day to ensure you have a wonderful Christmas. Our passion is providing you with excellent service, exquisite food and a wonderful experience you won’t forget. Christmas Eve
Arrive at Stonehouse Court Hotel and enjoy a festive tipple next to our roaring fire, followed by tea, coffee & a selection of festive cakes. Before your 2 course candlelit dinner in the Court Brasserie, enjoy festive carols sung by our local church choir.
Christmas Day
After unwrapping all of Santa’s surprises, enjoy a hearty breakfast, after which you can take a leisurely stroll and work up an appetite in anticipation of a traditional Christmas lunch. Christmas day lunch will be everything you expected and more, with our festive menu, which includes a glass of Champagne and canapés on arrival. In the afternoon, we will be showing the King’s Speech in our cosy Library, followed by Classic Christmas films for the remainder of the evening. For those of you looking for something a bit more lively, take part in our Christmas quiz or try out our selection of board games. The day will be rounded off with a 2-course cold buffet dinner, taken at your leisure.
Boxing Day
Have a lie-in and enjoy a late breakfast. Why not explore the local area? Head down to Gloucester Quays or Cheltenham for the Boxing Day sales! Later join us for a 3-course lunch and relax by our open fire. Dining this evening will be a 2-course buffet in Court Brasserie.
