Bedrooms
The Royal Glen Hotel, Devon, has four room types: Selected, Standard, Superior and Suite. All of the bedrooms have their own tea and coffee-making facilities, plus en suite bathroom.
The majority of the bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated in keeping with the building’s elegant period architecture, while there are also three Superior bedrooms in contemporary style.
There is a full range of twin, double, single and family bedrooms, while several of the bedrooms can be accessed by a lift within the Hotel.
ROOM DETAILS
Standard
There are 10 Standard bedrooms, including three which have both a double and a single bed. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with either a shower or a bath with an overhead shower.
Selected
These are slightly smaller rooms, but with all the same facilities as Standard bedrooms – a shower or a bath with an overhead shower and your own tea and coffee-making facilities. Look out for special deals on the Selected bedrooms.
Superior
Superior bedrooms are more spacious than Standard bedrooms, while offering similar facilities such as bathroom with a shower, or with a bath and overhead shower.
The Duke Room, Princess Room, Kent Room and Garden Room are decorated in traditional style, while there are three further Superior bedrooms with contemporary décor and furnishings.
The Garden Room has a patio door leading directly into the back garden, where you’ll find your own garden chair and table.
Suites
The six Suites – Culverwell, Duchess, Elizabeth, Henry, Cambridge and Edinburgh are the height of elegant luxury with lots of natural light and plenty of space. Each suite has room for one or two additional single beds or sofa bed. The Elizabeth Suite has its own exclusive patio seating area.
