The local aquarium, a short stroll from the Golden Lion Hotel with otters, sealions, penguins, turtles and snakes.

The famous red and white striped cliffs at Hunstanton are on England’s South East Coast Path, while the sandy beach is a great destination for all the family, with dunes and chalets lending a traditional seaside air. When the tide is out you can also explore the Wreck of the Steam Trawler Sheraton.

An American style links course, 18-holes and 6,786 yards, with views of The Wash, a bridge across the Heacham River and other lakes and creeks to keep up the challenge. Visitors are welcome.

A beautiful sandy beach that is curated by the National Trust.

Just 4kms long and 500 metres wide, Scolt Island comprises sand dunes, salt marsh and mud flats, and features significant populations of uncommon birds and plants. There is a seasonal ferry for visiting and wildlife tours can be arranged.

You can explore the 600-acre country park all year round, with the two waymarked trails through the woodlands and parkland. There is a shop, café, and many events throughout the year including bushcraft classes and Land Rover safaris.

A vast area of remarkable beauty, diversity and scientific interest, the north Norfolk coastline offers stunning views, wonderful wildlife and nature, beautiful beaches and coastline to enjoy.

Built in the 1720s for Great Britain’s first prime minister, Sir Robert Walpole, this remains one of England’s finest Palladian houses with magnificent gardens and sculpture park, art courses and  café.

Another of Norfolk’s many beautiful, dog-friendly sandy beaches with dunes, beach-huts, ice-cream vans and café.

A 25,000-acre estate on the North Norfolk coast Holkham Hall is rich in history, architecture and wildlife. There is a stunning walled garden, and regular event such as The Festival of Sport, open air concerts and cinema, exhibitions, theatre and country fairs.
