Based in Argyll on the Mull of Kintyre Peninsula, Stonefield Castle is just two miles from the beautiful fishing village of Tarbert.<\/p>\n

The castle grounds lead down to the shores of Loch Fyne, where guests can try their hand at sea and fly-fishing, as well as find moorings for up to four vessels.<\/p>\n

With its own 60 acres and woodland gardens that lead down to the shores of\u00a0Loch Fyne, guests of\u00a0Stonefield Castle\u00a0can enjoy a wide range of activities, from walks and wildlife spotting, to ferry trips and fishing.<\/p>\n

Just two miles away, the pretty village of Tarbert is well worth a visit. As well as fishing boats and yachts, there\u2019s a chance to see the harbour\u2019s visiting pod of dolphins, although if you are fortunate enough, from the large windows in the hotel\u2019s restaurant, you can often see seals, otters and dolphins as you dine.<\/p>\n

There are many walks and trails in the area to suit all hikers and ramblers. For those who prefer adventure on the water, why not go on a spectacular journey to Seil Island or visit the amazing natural phenomenon, the Corryvreckan Whirlpool.<\/p>\n

Stonefield Castle\u00a0can arrange fly fishing on\u00a0Loch Fyne, or even horse trail riding at the nearby Brenfield Estate. Stonefield is also a golfer\u2019s paradise, with five courses all within 40 miles of\u00a0the castle.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
