Leisure
With its own 60 acres and woodland gardens that lead down to the shores of Loch Fyne, guests of Stonefield Castle can enjoy a wide range of activities, from walks and wildlife spotting, to ferry trips and fishing.
Just two miles away, the pretty village of Tarbert is well worth a visit. As well as fishing boats and yachts, there’s a chance to see the harbour’s visiting pod of dolphins.
There are many walks and trails in the area to suit all hikers and ramblers. For those who prefer adventure on the water, why not go on a spectacular journey to Seil Island or visit the amazing natural phenomenon, the Corryvreckan Whirlpool.
Stonefield Castle can arrange fly fishing on Loch Fyne, or even horse trail riding at the nearby Brenfield Estate. Stonefield is also a golfer’s paradise, with five courses all within 40 miles of the castle.
