Mike has worked in general management at major international hospitality brands including Forte, Macdonald and Hand Picked Hotels. He is a longstanding member of The Institute for Turnaround and specialises in hotel recovery. Asset Management

Case study 1 70 bedroom 4* castle hotel in North East England

Situation. 

We were appointed to undertake an Asset Management role on behalf of the owners. 

Bespoke services:

  • Appointment of GM
  • Assistance in the management of the asset during and post Covid
  • Production and implementation of recovery plan

Outcomes:

  • Improvement in pre-Covid revenue and profitability
  • Repositioning of asset at high-end, 4-star quality

Situation. 

We were introduced to the owners by the lender following move into their Business Support arm with a view to assisting in revenue and profit growth and stabilisation.
